Landslide
Landslide
Landslide is an outdoor art and performance festival, a happening, a gathering of minds, a party spanning the weekend of the summer solstice, June 21 &22, 2008. We are currently organizing bands, performers, site specific installations, etc, etc.

The festival will be free and last from the afternoon into the early morning hours. Depending on funding, food and booze will either be provided or available at a low, low, cover the expenses price. Performers will, in any case, be taken care of to their hearts content.

The space is an amazing hillside situated in Lincoln Heights, one of Los Angeles' oldest neighborhoods. A converted and halved half pipe provides the stage that overlooks the city and a 30ft high teepee provides a hillside monument and domicile for an artist in residence at the space. It's unreal. Below are pictures of past shows at the site. We really hope you join us! Its going to be a lot of fun.

The plan:
4-5 musical acts per day
Performance works throughout
DJ's between sets
On-site sculptures created throughout
Interventions of space and time ongoing
